I was recently introduced to the band “The City Harmonic”, and honestly as I type this, I’m not even sure if I should be embarrassed that I’ve never heard of them before. I love Christian music, and I have a lot of the well-known and popular church songs on my iPod, but I admit, I rarely listen to it on Pandora or the radio (I’m still only dipping my toes into Spotify. Stop judging me).
Anyway, my introduction to this band was through a YouTube video for their song “Manifesto”. Not only is it a liberating and powerful song, it’s especially cool when the lead singer sings the Lord’s Prayer in the bridge. Also, he takes one breath during the entire prayer. It really is amazing.
