We began in 1976

The founders of Shelby Systems recognized early that ministries would benefit from better solutions to manage their membership and financial needs. They were passionate about providing effective and efficient tools that helped ministries and nonprofits increase their impact on the world. For decades, that passion continued, and Shelby Systems flourished into a company that stayed at the forefront of technology and solutions for ministries.

Shelby Systems today

Today, we’re a leading provider of premium software solutions to churches and faith-based nonprofits. In 2015, we joined the Ministry Brands family, which expanded our ability to provide a total ministry solution ministries, dioceses, and denominational headquarters. Our suite of solutions includes software for church and headquarter management, church accounting, online giving, background checks and websites, as well as a full-featured mobile app and other add-ons like check-in kiosks and other hardware.

Because our team is active in the local church and comprised of people committed to supporting ministry, our products are naturally tailored to the specific needs of our customers. We not only provide these solutions, but we also use them while volunteering and working at our ministries!

What our future holds

The leaders and employees at Shelby are aligned in their desire to live out their faith and serve God locally and globally. As we move forward, we’ll continue to innovate and develop software built for faith-based organizations. We won’t stop listening, planning or designing what we think is the perfect blend of tools for ministries. We’ve been blessed to be able to assist the Church in ministry for over 40 years, and we look forward to our next 40 years.
