Shelby Systems announces three new guest speakers for International Shelby Conference in Atlanta, GA, June 16-18, 2010. Authors Jennifer Schuchmann and Dan Busby and blogger Jon Acuff will be speaking at general sessions and hosting breakouts at ISC throughout the 2010 conference.  International Shelby Conference invites Shelby v.5 and Arena customers to come together for a time of learning and fellowship. With a nod to celebrating the past 20 years of conferences, ISC 2010 looks boldly ahead to software development with the theme, “Future Unleashed.” ISC exists to educate, inspire, and connect with customers across the country and around the world through learning, networking, information sharing, worship, and entertainment.

Dan Busby is recognized as one of the nation’s top experts in tax and finance issues for clergy, the church, and other non-profit organizations. He currently serves as the President of Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) which provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, fund-raising, and board governance. Busby will speak at the general session on Thursday morning and host lectures “Fraud Awareness,” “Donor-restricted Gifts,” and “Update from Capitol Hill.”

Author and speaker Jennifer Schuchmann will be signing copies of her most recent book, First Things First, about Kurt and Brenda Warner, which hit number ten on the New York Times hardcover non-fiction best seller list. Jennifer has written two books (co-authored with Mark Herringshaw) about prayer. The first, Six Prayers God Always Answers, is about how we talk to God; the second, Nine Ways God Always Speaks, is about how God talks to us. Her first book, Your Unforgettable Life (co-authored with Craig Chapin), discusses how the seemingly insignificant things we do add up to be the legacy we leave. Schuchmann will be speaking at the opening general session and Dessert with Jennifer on Wednesday. She will be hosting lectures “Tweet Hour of Prayer” (how to start a twitter ministry at your church), “Personal Ministry with Facebook,” and “Where Do I Go from Here?”

For the last 10 years Jonathan Acuff has helped a variety of organizations tell their story including The Home Depot, Bose, Staples, Chick-fil-A, and North Point Community Church. In addition to his many day jobs, he also writes a blog called Stuff Christians Like (www.stuffchristianslike.net). This has become one of the most widely read Christian blogs with readership in more than 98% of the countries in the world. In addition to speaking at the closing general session on Friday, Acuff will be hosting the lecture “Art of Ideas.”

“We are extremely excited to welcome these wonderful speakers to ISC 2010,” said Karen Bishop, Shelby Systems’ Events Manager. “I believe they will be both inspiring and entertaining for our attendees.”
