Psalms 105-112 talks about God’s laws for us and our desires for His guidance. As it is written in the Bible, it is a perfect illustration of what our attitudes should be like as Christians. Played out in real life, though, we are much more reluctant to acknowledge and obey God’s laws and expectations. We have earthly sins that battle against us and we make plenty of excuses for our behaviors.

Psalms 105-112 was chosen today just as a reminder of the commitment that God made to us and the commitment that we have made to Him.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.
I have suffered much; preserve my life, Lord, according to your word.
Accept, Lord, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.
Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.
The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.

Have a great Wednesday, everyone!
