Five years ago, we had the rare opportunity to interview Pearl Harbor survivor, former TN state senator and author Bill Jim Davis who gave us a riveting eyewitness account of December 7, 1941. In this brief video, Mr. Davis also explains what growing up in the Depression and serving in politics taught him. He will conclude with the ingredients for a happy life. We, as a nation, are indebted to Mr. Davis and others like him who answered the call to duty and performed with valor. Bill Jim Davis is one among many of this country’s living treasures. People who have lived a life of service and integrity and whose legacies light the path for those who follow. Bill Jim (96 years old) resides with his wife Helen in Southwest Tennessee. He has two children, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
