Shelby Systems has partnered with mobileAxept, a Text‐To‐Give service that allows users to make donations to their church or ministry right from their mobile device. This integration means that Shelby Arena users can now offer their congregations a way to easily send contributions via text message.
With any mobile device that can send and receive text messages, tithing or making a purchase directly from the church is now possible. Churches will receive real‐time information on donations, including: name, address, telephone number, purpose of gift, and the amount given. Donors can contribute any amount they wish and a receipt will be sent to them via text message. Any donated funds are in the church bank account within twenty‐four hours and all necessary data is posted into Shelby Arena. This integration between Shelby Arena and mobileAxept provides churches with advanced consolidated reporting.
The Text‐To‐Give service is secure and independent of any telecom operators, banking partnerships, or national boundaries. Money transfers are carried out over secure lines encrypted with Secure Socket Layer SSL)/Transport Layer Security (TLS). mobileAxept uses Bluefin Payment Systems® as the Merchant Account Provider. Bluefin is PCI Security Compliant.
